Assignment 8: From Topic to Sentence Outline
This assignment is designed to get you comfortable writing both topic and sentence outlines. It has four parts:
1. Begin by going here and reading all the material on outlining.
2. Next, read the following sections of Malcolm Gladwell's book, Blink: Introduction, Chapter One, Conclusion.
3. In class, Terri will assign you pages from
Blink to outline in both topic and full-sentence fashion.
4. You must email Terri both a topic AND a sentence outline of your selected
pages. If you need an example of what I mean,
I have provided one you can download, here.
