Assignment 9: Your Midterm
For your mid-term grade, you must do the following:
1. Email Terri both a topic and a full-sentence
outline of your assigned section of Malcolm Gladwell's book, Blink.

2. Using your topic outline, prepare a PowerPoint
presentation of your assigned section of Blink. If you need a PowerPoint

click here. Reminder: be sure to save
your PowerPoint presentation on your Flash drive.
3 . Transfer the key points of your sentence outline (aka
"script") to note cards. You will be using these note cards to give
your speech to the class.
4 . Download this form to to find out exactly what
you need to do before your speech and how you will be evaluated.
5 . REHEARSE, REHEARSE, REHEARSE your speech with your PowerPoint slides before
you give it to the class.
6. Give your speech to the class.
That's all there is to it!
