Assignment 2: Assessments

This assignment is designed to help you gauge your abilities with regard to writing and reading comprehension. The assignment has three parts:

1. Go to the class Blackboard site and click the folder called "Assessments."

2. Take each assesment provided. This will take approximately one hour, so be sure you have given yourself enough time.

3. Bear in mind that if you get more than two items wrong in an assessment, you are going to have to get more practice with grammar, syntax and/or reading comprehension. The Writing Center has tutors who have been prepped with our assignments. If you got more than two items wrong in an assessment, you willl be expected to have visited with a Writing Center tutor prior to giving any written outlines to Terri for review.
